Special report: Reconstruction After Earthquake

    BEIJING, June 5 (Xinhua) -- In the 24 hours ending Thursday noon, 166 aftershocks were monitored in southwest China's quake zone, according to the China Earthquake Administration.

    Among the tremors, two measured from 4.0 to 4.9 on the Richter scale, the administration said.

    A total of 10,418 aftershocks had been detected in the quake areas since May 12 when the 8.0-magnitude quake struck.
