On June 10, 2020, Minister Counselor Yu Yue, Alternate Observer of China to the Organization of American States (OAS), addressed the Fourth Special Meeting of the Permanent Council of the OAS dedicated to the Permanent Observers on such topics as China’s efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and its cooperation with Latin American and Caribbean countries in the battle against the disease. Representitives from member states and permanent observers of the OAS attended the video conference.
